Workout14/Jan/11

Deadlift - 135lb 3x5 (dropped the weight to refocus on my form, I was advised by someone at the gym that my form was a bit off; I'll make a post about this tomorrow)

50 lb Dumbell press 5x8

Decline Bench - 135lb 3x5 (benching this much was hard for me, sadly, but ever since I switched over to dumbell press it's a breeze)

This week I've been doing various mixes of the same workouts listed in my first post but everyday since Monday. Next week should mark the start of my 3x/week program.

  4. if you want to get on this program, 1) you can start deadlifting with an empty bar and work your way up like i did, 2) it's only 5 deadlifts every other workout

    LOL I'm out of shape but some of these comments make me feel better! :P

  6. Good idea dropping the deadlift weight down to work on form. Coming from someone who hit 515 @220 bodyweight and 17 years old, this is really important. Get that form down, then you can worry about the weight. You'll go far if you're thinking ahead like this. Be sure to keep us updated!
